Some people with learning difficulties or mental illnesses require 24/7 care, however, not everyone requires around the clock support. Everyone is different and we all have specific needs, therefore Encompass Dorset offer clients bespoke Supported Living services to adults of all ages.

But what is Supported Living and how could this benefit me?

Supported Living is a concept which centres on providing the necessary care to individuals in need whilst maintaining and developing their independence. Essentially, this is a style of care which is designed to be as unobtrusive to the rest of their daily life as possible.

For many people, the ability to remain in their own home is, understandably, of huge importance. We can provide support from domiciliary carers in order to ensure the continued living in your current premises whilst still taking full advantage of the skills and expertise on offer.

How Does It Work?

A fully trained member of our team will provide assistance with a variety of tasks, including cooking, cleaning and washing. Domiciliary Care is naturally beneficial to many individuals as they are able to remain in a place where they feel safe and (quite literally) at home.

Depending on their situation, moving into specialist accommodation may be a more suited to the individual. We have a wide range of options available for people looking to move out of their current property including accommodation in Bridport, Weymouth and Sherborne.

As with many of our services, this can be tailored to suit your needs with a large team of care staff available throughout the day and a dedicated care line available overnight and in emergencies for additional support.
