Rawleigh House Residential Care Home, Sherborne

 

Rawleigh House provides accommodation with personal care. The service is provided to adults and young people with a learning disability, mental health overlay, social, emotional and behavioural support needs, autism, complex health needs, sensory and communication needs. The support is tailored to individuals with a moderate to severe learning disabilities and other associated health needs. The service also provides facilities to help meet peoples’ physical care needs.

 

The service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

 

It comprises of 6 single bedrooms, some of which have en-suite facilities.  In addition, there are two assisted communal bathrooms with overhead hoists and specialist baths.  Each person is encouraged to make their bedroom as personal as they want. 

There is also a large lounge with patio doors which lead into the garden, which also has ramped access.  There is a separate large dining room and a large kitchen.  There is a lift in the entrance hall that gives access to the upstairs first floor rooms. 

Rawleigh House has a minibus and a car, to support easy access to facilities in Sherborne and the surrounding area. The car is also used for holidays.
