Supporting You

Encompass is committed to supporting those with learning disabilities and enduring mental health issues. Encompass uses person-centred care in order to support individuals and to overcome barriers, which allows people to achieve all they want from life, in both domiciliary and residential settings.

How We Support You

We want to do the very best for all the people we support, whatever their needs or circumstances, in order for them to get the best from life. We do this by:

  • The Encompass Promise - Our pledge to you (read more here).
  • CQC & Local Authority Oversight - We work with government agencies towards standards and outcomes and national quality standards such as Reach Standards, Driving Up Quality and the Social Care Commitment.
  • Your Support Plan – This objective orientated document focuses on the things we need to do together to help you live the life you want, as independently and safely as possible.  You can find more information on our Lifestyle Choices and Keeping Safe pages.

We will ensure that you are involved in your support, work with you to meet the outcomes of your support plan and help you access the right healthcare.

You will have lots of opportunities to take part in activities, whether at home or out and about, attending college, or help you to secure employment.  We work with you to achieve what you want out of life.

We will support you to make the choices you want and our aim is to give you as much independence as you want and help build your confidence.
